Top 5 Wednesday: Freebie! (Favorites You’d Like To Revisit)

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Thoughts on Tomes and created by Lainey @ Gingereadslainey with different bookish topics for each week.

If you’re interested in joining in, see the Goodreads group!

What favorite books would you like to re-read? These don’t just need to be books, they can also be TV, movies, video games, etc.

Since I missed this one earlier this month, I decided to use this topic for my Freebie!

1.) The Code Name Verity series by: Elizabeth Wein.

I’ve mentioned this in a couple of my past posts now that I REALLY want to reread the Verity series. As y’all know by this point: it’s one of my absolute favorites. But it’s been so long since I’ve read it! I miss my beautiful girls! I want to laugh, and cry, and ultimately have my soul shattered by them all over again! So, I hope that I can manage to find time to revisit these books before the year ends, but I highly doubt it (so many books are coming out y’all. SO. MANY.)

2.) Supernatural.

Supernatural

So, I’ve been a fan of this show since it’s premiere in 2005, but I kinda fell off the wagon with it around season 6. And then, a few years ago, I started a rewatch, and again, quit around season 6. But we’re on like, season 13 or something now, and I’m experiencing serious FOMO when it comes to this series, so I’m hoping I can buckle down and get back on track with it. I’ve been watching this show for SO LONG, and I really wanna know what’s happening!!!

3.) The Scorpio Races by: Maggie Stiefvater.

So, I’m the person that, every now and then, I pick up an old favorite and reread it just so I can annotate it. I’ve done this with many of my books, including 3/4 of the Raven Cycle books. And recently, I’ve been wanting to revisit Maggie’s writing, but not the Raven Cycle. And I feel like The Scorpio Races is the Maggie book that, I don’t know if this makes sense, that I spent the least amount of time on? Like, I feel like I sped through it? So I’d like to go back to it, take my time with it, and annotate it. I really like to be able to sit down an pick apart why it’s Maggie’s favorite of the books she’s written.

4.) Strange the Dreamer by: Laini Taylor.

Okay, so, I just finished Muse of Nightmares a couple weeks ago for Biannual Bibliothon 2018, so of course now I’m OBSESSED with this story and these characters again. So, naturally, I want to revisit them. I want to go back and fall in love with these precious babies all over again, and again, and again until Laini gives us something else to fill the void! SHE LEFT A HOLE IN MY HEART, AND I NEED TO PUT SOMETHING THERE!!!

5.) World of Warcraft.

I’ve been a dedicated player of this game since 2007. But, in the past year or so, due to financial and school reasons, I haven’t been able to play. And it SUCKS!!!! I know from friends that SO MUCH of the game has changed, and been added, and altered and I’M MISSING IT!!!! I miss running around Azeroth with my little Blood Elf Rogue, and slaying my enemies in the name of my ONE TRUE QUEEN: SYLVANAS WINDRUNNER!!!! Gah! I just miss this game so much. I hope I can find a way to carve out time for it.
